Right from the time we met Maureen she made us feel so comfortable. When our pictures were taken, our children were young adults/teenagers and she immediately connected with them. The pictures are to this day some of our favorites and the day we had them done is still one of my favorite memories with the 3 most important people in my life captured beautifully by Maureen. Val and I won a Valentines Day contest and our prize was a personal couples photo session with Gal Capone Photography. Not only did Maureen take excellent photos which captured the essence of our years together she was a lot of fun to work with. Our " romantic bathtub" portrait is in our living room and we look at it every day and it always makes us smile.

Maureen captured the most lovely lifestyle newborn photos for my family following the birth of my third child. She navigated a busy toddler, an uncooperative preschooler, a hungry newborn and a hormonal mama with humour and ease. Her talent shines in her ability to see and capture the beautiful moments that reside in that chaos, like my baby snuggled so perfectly in my arms, my toddler’s sweet silliness as she played and the genuine love between my preschooler and her siblings. She has a gift for noticing when the light is just right, and gently suggested positioning without making us feel unnatural or formal.
